St Monica Trust sets new standards for best practice training in social care
The St Monica Trust has set the standard for training and development in the social care sector taking two prestigious national awards that celebrate its achievements in training and employment of staff.
In an initiative that recognises the very best practice in staff training and development, the St Monica Trust has won the top awards for both Best In-house Training Provider and Assessment Centre and Best Employer of more than 250 staff, competing against the country’s most innovative and effective social care and training organisations. Both awards were presented at the Skills for Care Accolades 2007, an event organised by Skills for Care, the employer-led authority driving forward training and development standards for the social care sector.
In taking the national trophy for Best In-house Training Provider and Assessment Centre, St Monica Trust impressed the judges with its innovative approach to staff development, providing a breadth and depth of skills for employees which both raise standards and improve employee motivation.
